Join us for "Panther Tales," a delightful time filled with storytelling magic and a glimpse into the heart of our school.

Event Highlights:

  • Storytime: Be with us in the spaces where our youngest learners spend their days, and let your imagination take flight with a captivating story, craft project, special treat, and a visit to our new playground.

  • Curriculum Insights: Chat with our school leadership and learn more about our Early Childhood curriculum's unique offerings.

  • Campus Tour: After storytime, Admissions Counselor Lelia Carlson ‘14 will lead optional 30-minute tours of our school so you can see the magic happening inside our classrooms.

"Panther Tales" will take place three times this year: September, November, and January. Choose your date or experience them all!

  • Sunday, September 29, 2:00 p.m. — If You Give a Mouse a Cookie

    Join us for our first exciting story time of the year!

    Story time will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Junior Pre-K Center. We’ll enjoy If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, a beloved children's classic by Laura Joffe Numeroff and illustrated by Felicia Bond. Chances are if you give a mouse a cookie, he'll make a few more requests. After our story, we’ll make a craft and enjoy a special treat!

    Members of our school leadership team will be available to answer questions about Advent’s Early Childhood curriculum. Admission Counselor Lelia Carlson will offer optional school tours at the end of our time together. Tours will start at 3:00 p.m. and should take around 30 minutes.

  • Sunday, November 3, 2:00 p.m. — We're Going on a Leaf Hunt

    Join us for a story time to celebrate the magic of autumn!

    Story time will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Junior Pre-K Center. We’ll enjoy We're Going on a Leaf Hunt by Steve Metzger and illustrated by Miki Sakamoto. In this book, three best friends go on an adventure, searching high and low for colorful fall leaves. After our story, we’ll make a craft and enjoy a special treat!

  • Thursday, January 9, 8:30 a.m. — The Mitten

    Join us for a special story filled with wintertime wonder!

    Story time will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Advent Library. We’ll enjoy The Mitten, a Ukrainian folktale adapted and illustrated by Jan Brett. This classic book features a little boy who loses his new mitten while playing in the snow. Then, charming woodland creatures find the mitten and snuggle up inside. After our story, we’ll make a wintery craft and enjoy a treat!
