Celebrating Three Years of JPK!

Three years ago, Advent Episcopal School embarked on a new journey, introducing its Junior Pre-Kindergarten (JPK) program tailored for three-year-olds. Today, as we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on the incredible growth, learning, and community that have flourished within these walls.

At the heart of our JPK program lies a commitment to nurturing young minds through a balanced blend of structured learning and joyful exploration. From building numerical and literary foundations to fostering a love for learning through play, our curriculum is designed to ignite curiosity and spark imagination.

Advent’s JPK program is unlike any other program for three year olds in our city. Our youngest learners participate in a wide array of special subjects; they learn french, create art, check out books at the library, take music classes, and engage in physical education!

But it's not just about academics, enrichment, and physical development. At Advent, we believe in the power of community, starting from the earliest years of a child's education. Our youngest learners not only bond with their classmates but also interact with older students, fostering authentic connections that transcend age barriers.

A typical day in our JPK program is filled with laughter, learning, and discovery. From circle time to story sessions, from outdoor adventures to indoor explorations, each moment is an opportunity for growth and development.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to providing excellence in early childhood education. Our JPK program follows the traditional school calendar, with scheduled holidays throughout the year. For families seeking more comprehensive care, we offer a 12-month enrollment option, including access to our after-school care program, summer ADVENTure camp, and select holiday camps.

In just three years, Advent's Junior Pre-Kindergarten program has become a special and beloved part of the Advent community. We are immensely proud of the growth and achievements of our JPK students and look forward to many more years of nurturing young minds and shaping future leaders!
